Patrick Mahomes to Travis Kelce puts Chiefs in AFC Championship game

The Buffalo Bills lost the coin toss in overtime. The Kansas City Chiefs took the ball and ripped the heart out of their foes in an AFC Divisional round game Sunday at Arrowhead.

The final score was 42-36 — the third time in NFL history a game ended with that tally — and it was Patrick Mahomes to Travis Kelce for 8 yards 3:28 into the extra session.

The winning drive was 7 plays and 67 yards.

The Bills will play host to the upstart Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship game on Jan. 30.

The game was ridiculous as the Chiefs fell behind 36-33 when Josh Allen threw the fourth TD pass of the game with 13 seconds left.

Somehow, Mahomes put the Chiefs in a position to get a 49-yard field goal to tie it by Harrison Butker.

Mahomes threw for 177 yards after the two-minute warning.

There were 34 points scored by the teams in the final 1:54 of regulation and overtime.

Mahomes and Allen combined for 707 passing yards and 7 touchdown throws.
