Former Matildas coach Alen Stajcic will lead the Philippines into battle against the Matildas and it will be interesting to see what tricks he has up his sleeve to curb the influence of several players he coached during his Australia stint between 2014-19.

The Philippines started their Asian Cup campaign with a 1-0 win against Thailand and they will be keen to nick a massive result off Australia.

With the Matildas being massive favourites, it will be interesting to see if coach Tony Gustavsson rotates his squad after copping criticism for his team selection against Indonesia.
