Disney+ Releases ‘Hawkeye’ Deleted Scenes

Just two months after the release of the debut season of Disney+’s Hawkeye, the network has released several deleted scenes from the series that provide additional insight to some characters’ origin stories and give closure to others. The deleted scenes surfaced online and were posted to Twitter.

The fifth Marvel series to premiere on Disney+, Hawkeye debuted in November and concluded one month later with its sixth episode. One deleted scene showed Vincent D’Onofrio’s (Daredevil) Kingpin interacting with the child version of Maya Lopez, played by newcomer Darnel Besaw.

Another deleted scene, which can be watched below, centered around Jeremy Renner’s (Avenger’s) Clint Barton as a child, alongside his mom at a carnival, where he first showed off his God-given aim. The Hawkeye deleted scene showed Clint’s origins as an accomplice to his mother’s crimes. The scene also paralleled with Kate Bishop’s (Hailee Steinfeld, Pitch Perfect), which is shown later in the series, as both characters played roles in their mothers being punished by law enforcement.

Other deleted scenes that were released showed Clint and Kate interacting with starstruck Hawkeye fans in comedic minute-long sequences, like the one below.

Other deleted scenes can be viewed below.
