Slow down while driving in the fog, says CHP

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The California Highway Patrol out of Modesto would like to remind those on the road to slow down while driving in foggy conditions.

According to CHP, one driver crashed a white sedan into a canal while trying to cross a concrete bridge.

“Even at low rates of speed, dense fog can be problematic,” said CHP Modesto. “Their speed mixed with the foggy conditions....well, the picture tells all.”
