No. 25 Tennessee (13-5, 4-3 SEC) defeated LSU (15-4, 3-4 SEC), 64-50, Saturday at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Tennessee opened an 11-0 lead against LSU. The Vols led 29-24 at halftime.

Santiago Vescovi recorded 16 points, six rebounds and five assists. He was 5-for-6 in three-point attempts.

Uros Plavsic totaled 12 points and six rebounds for Tennessee. Kennedy Chandler and Josiah-Jordan James scored nine points each. Chandler had six assists and James recorded five rebounds.

John Fulkerson scored eight points for the Vols.

Tari Eason led LSU with 16 points and Brandon Murray added 15.

LSU defeated the Vols, 79-67, Jan. 3 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
