Jordan and P.K. Subban take aim at ECHL player after racist gesture directed at Jordan during game (w/video)

During Saturday night's ECHL game between the South Carolina and Jacksonville, Stingrays defenceman Jordan Subban had a racist gesture directed at him by Icemen defenceman Jacob Panetta at the start of overtime.

The Icemen tweeted that "Overtime began with a rough fight resulting in multiple penalties on both sides." Subban then quote tweeted them by saying:

"More like @JPanetta12 was too much of a coward to fight me and as soon as I began to turn my back he started making monkey gestures at me so I punched him in the face multiple times and he turtled like the coward he is. There fixed it"

Jacob Panetta was given a five minute major for fighting, a game misconduct for continuing an altercation and another game misconduct for the racist gesture. Jordan's brother P.K. tweeted video of the incident, which you can see below. Warning: the video also contains audio of fans yelling the n-word at Jordan Subban.

It's disgusting that this keeps happening in hockey. The American Hockey League handed down a hefty, 30-game suspension to San Jose Barracuda forward Krystof Hrabik for a racial gesture he made towards Tucson Roadrunners forward Boko Imama just a couple of days ago.

I would expect a massive suspension to be given to Jacob Panetta as early as Sunday.
