Fire destroys Perrysville area mobile home; two injured

A mobile home at County Road 3275 and Township Road 2475 near Perrysville was destroyed by fire on Saturday.

Two people were injured and a mobile home was destroyed by a fire around noon Saturday in rural Perrysville.

Two of the occupants were outside of the mobile home, which was fully involved with fire, when firefighters arrived, according the the Perrysville Fire Department, which noted both people were transported to hospitals, one person appearing to have serious injuries.

The fire happened at a location near County Road 3275 and Township Road 3475, and was called in about 11:50 a.m.

Both of the occupants of the mobile home were transported to OhioHealth Mansfield.

Mutual aid was provided by Western Holmes County and Loudonville fire departments and the Ashland County Sheriff's Office.

The structure was declared a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office.
