Green Bay Packers superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers addressed the press after Saturday's brutal loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Lambeau Field. To say that the reigning league MVP was a figure of disappointment would be a complete understatement.

Rodgers did not hold back in his self-criticism as he discussed his sub-par performance against the Niners:

“I didn't have a great night tonight,” Rodgers admitted, via Ryan Wood of USA TODAY. “They did a good job of getting me off the spot, and a better job of taking away the quick game than last time we played them.”

Rodgers completed 20-of-29 of his passes against the 49ers for 225 yards. To be fair, Rodgers' protection left a lot to be desired on the evening with the 38-year-old suffering no less than five sacks throughout the contest.

Aaron Rodgers also noted that he intends to take some time off before he makes a final decision on his future with the Packers. This will be one of the biggest talking points of the offseason not only for A-Rod and the Packers but for the rest of the league as well. At this point, it wouldn't be impossible to think that Rodgers could be playing his football elsewhere next season.
