Antioch Police Say Traffic Stop Results in Arrest and Recovered Firearms

On Saturday, the Antioch Police Department announced the arrest of Giovanni Garcia, 21, after an officer recovered an AR style pistol and another firearm.

Garcia, who is out of San Francisco, was taken to MDF after a traffic stop and search in the 700 block of W 18th Street in the City of Antioch.

According to Police, Officer Milner observed a vehicle that was in violation of the California Vehicle Code in numerous ways and made a traffic enforcement stop to speak with the driver. Officer Milner noticed the strong odor of smoked marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.

After a search,  Milner  located the multiple firearms and then placed Garcia under arrested.
