Over 15,600 new COVID-19 cases reported in Ohio Saturday

Ohio reported over 15,000 more COVID-19 cases Saturday.

The Ohio Department of Health reported 15,677 cases and 295 additional hospitalizations.

There have been 2,496,243 cases, 104,685 hospitalizations, and 31,987 deaths in Ohio since the start of the pandemic.

As of Jan. 22, 2,053,374 Ohioans have recovered from COVID-19, the state health department says. Recovered is categorized as cases with a symptom onset date of over 21 days who have not died.

61.05% of Ohioans have received at least their first dose as of Jan. 22. 56.02% are fully vaccinated. Over 3,168,853 additional shots have been administered.
