CAL FOOTE DISCIPLINED FOR CROSS-CHECKING INCIDENT (W/VIDEO)

It's not the Stanley Cup Playoffs if things don't get heated between opponents, and it appears some hard feeling between St. Louis Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington and Nazem Kadri of the Colorado Avalanche spilled over off the ice Saturday night. After just three shots against in game three, Binnington was knocked out of the game following a collision in his net that involved Kadri.

Of all the indiscretions that have taken place over the last three weeks, the NHL is reportedly investigating Jordan Binnington & the water bottle incident involving Nazem Kadri. After colliding into the net alongside STL D Calle Rosen, Kadri spoke with media post-game to elaborate on the situation from his perspective. During the interview, Kadri was visibly distracted.

Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk is having the time of his life cheering on his brother, Matthew, on the Calgary Flames. Many people think that it is wrong for him to be cheering on another team than his own, but really it shouldn't be a problem at all. If anyone else were in the same situation as him, they would be doing the same thing.

Blues D Calle Rosen also collided into Binnington, but Kadri was crashing the net with purpose. It's tough to say if Kadri took a run at Binnington or not, but he definitely crashed into the Blues' netminder & Binnington definitely left the game.

This year's draft is fairly strong, with solid prospects available from 1 through 20-22. Reported by Kevin Weekes, Rick Bowness will not be returning to coach the Dallas Stars even though the team overachieved by most standards under his tenure. Edmonton Oilers goaltender Mikko Koskinen will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st, and it appears he knows his time in the NHL is over. According to a report from Swiss media outlet Watson, Koskinen already has an agreement in place for 2022-23 with HC Lugano of Switzerland's National League.
