The Atlanta Hawks have been extremely underwhelming this NBA season. Trae Young is putting up some amazing numbers, but it hasn’t equated to winning. Atlanta is currently 20-25 and sits at 12th in the Eastern Conference, two whole games out of the play-in.
On top of that, some more internal drama is brewing. Power forward John Collins has expressed his frustration with his role on the team.
According to him, he wants to take on a bigger role within the offense. Despite his contract extension this past offseason, he hasn’t gotten that.
Meanwhile, out west, the Portland Trail Blazers are also in shambles. Their season has been a comedy of errors. They are 19-26 right now, good for 10th in the Western Conference. Nothing seems to be going right for the Blazers this year.

They’ve had to fire Neil Olshey, their now former GM, there were reports of a rift forming between Chauncey Billups and the team, and now Damian Lillard is going to miss extended time. It’s beginning to seem that their season is a wrap.
So, with that in mind, is there a trade that these two teams could get done that would help out both sides? Is there a deal that the Hawks would consider? On top of that, what trade could help the Blazers move forward as an organization?
