LEANING ON CONNOR
As the Jets prepare for their first battle with the Bruins, today will be a day that they will be leaning heavily on their star players like Kyle Connor. The Michigan product has points in three straight games (2G-3A) and has helped the Jets power play continue to produce.

MORRISSEY BIG MINUTES
While the Jets have one point out of a possible four on this four-game road trip so far, Josh Morrissey has been playing some of his best hockey of the season. Morrissey had two assists on Thursday in Nashville and also played a team high 25:58 that night. In fact, Morrissey has been logging big minutes over the last four contests, playing at least 23:15. He along with Dylan DeMelo will be counted on to try and contain the Bruins offence.
MYSTERY LINEUP
Head coach Dave Lowry would not divulge his lineup for this afternoon's game following the teams optional skate in Boston on Friday. The good news from that skate was both Eric Comrie and Brendan Dillon have returned from COVID protocol to skate with their teammates. Blake Wheeler and Dillon would be welcome additions to the Winnipeg lineup, but we will have to wait and see what Lowry throws out on the ice for the pre-game skate. Former Bruin Blake Wheeler leads the Jets in career scoring against Boston with 17 points (7G, 10A) in 22 games. Wheeler had 110 points (50G, 60A) in 221 games before being traded to the Atlanta Thrashers on Feb. 18/11.
COPPER
While we don't know what the lineup will be this afternoon, we do know that Andrew Copp is on pace for another career season. He has 26 points (10G,16A) in 36 games in 2021-22 and has points in four consecutive games for the first time this season. With his ten goals, he has reached double digits for a fourth consecutive campaign and is averaging a career best 2.83 shots per game.
NO MARCHAND
The Jets will face the Bruins for the first time this season, but they will not have to deal with Brad Marchand. The Bruins forward was injured on a hit from the Capitals Garnet Hathaway on Thursday night and will miss today's game against Winnipeg. Jake DeBrusk will get the first chance to try and fill in for the irreplaceable Marchand on the top line with Patrice Bergeron and Craig Smith at five-on-five.
