The store I do the majority of my shopping has a self serve doughnut area. I sometimes get a doughnut to eat while shopping along with a bottle of juice or water. I tell the cashier at the main cashier I ate part of the doughnut and drank the juice. They ring up my purchase, never a problem. It appears that the man is paying for his candy while also eating from the bag!
