Sacramento Kings vs. Milwaukee Bucks odds and best bets

This is a big sports weekend. The NFL games look great and college hoops is heating up - don't forget to check out Kentucky vs. Auburn. However, it is not such a great weekend for the NBA, however, as Saturday offers just 3 games to choose from. Last year's NBA Finals participants are in action but alas, they are not playing each other.

In two of these games, we have double-digit spreads so we are looking closer at the one that doesn't, the Sacramento Kings vs the Milwaukee Bucks. Milwaukee might be looking to make a surge now that top guard Jrue Holiday is back in the fold. Unlike other teams, they have their Big 3 healthy right now.

Sacramento is one of the least consistent teams in the NBA. They have some nice pieces but with their coach already axed for the season, the program has been reset in SacTown. Their no-defense style is a dangerous approach against a team that can score in bunches like Milwaukee.

Betting Odds

Total: 232.5
Moneyline: Kings +360, Bucks -470

Bets to consider

Over 232.5

This is a high total but very manageable. Sacramento is 8-5 O/U as a road underdog this season, giving up an average of 118ppg. Milwaukee should be able to boost that average on Saturday night. Five times this month the Bucks have had totals of over 230 points and they are 3-2 O/U in those games. This team can fill it up against anyone.

Kings Over 111.5 Points Scored (-110)

This is definitely a correlated play with the one above so if the Bucks win 99-87 we are screwed. This number is exactly what the Kings average for the season. Look for the Bucks to establish a working margin of about 10 points and then the game will feel mostly like a layup line with some chucks from deep to balance it out. There will be little defensive intensity in the second half so even though the result is never in doubt the points will keep adding up for the Kings.
