Halo Infinite has safe zone and revival mechanics

Halo Infinite multiplayer is getting another set of monetisation updates and the next battle pass will probably bring the best one yet.

When Halo Infinite multiplayer was released, virtually everyone praised all aspects of the game, except monetisation. That part dragged the rest back due to the overly aggressive nature that severely restricted progression through playing. Since then, 343 Industries implemented several updates that improved battle pass progression and lowered prices of cosmetic items but there is more to come in the near future.

Starting with the week of January 24, 2022, the in-game shop will start rotating parts of certain bundles on their own. Players will be able to purchase cosmetics without being forced to buy the entire package but the best news is arriving later on.

Namely, 343 also announced that players will be able to earn Credits, the premium currency, through gameplay, when the next season pass arrives. It was already known such a change would happen at some point but the devs didn't specify when it would be implemented.

With this announcement, there is a rough estimate on when to expect the introduction of objectives that will award Credits since the current battle pass is going until May 2, 2022. Technically, Halo Infinite battle passes do not expire but it's expected this is the date when a new one will pop up.

This still leaves us with four months of not being able to get cosmetics without shelling out RL currency but at least we now have a time frame on when to expect the improvements.
