Dear Dr. June: Last year I fell in love. We met at a friend’s party and just connected. I was visiting her for a week’s vacation and ended up spending more time with him. When I left we stayed in touch and saw each other every weekend. I felt his love and he felt mine.

This went on for eight months and he was talking about moving. I was so happy. Then one weekend he didn’t show up and said he needed a break for a while. I couldn’t understand it.
