WEBSTER – A traffic stop for illegally attached plates led to the arrest of two Worcester men for outstanding warrants and drugs on Wednesday, January 19.
An officer stopped a vehicle for having plates attached to a vehicle that did not match the registration. The driver admitted to knowing the plates were not matching. He had no identification, but provided a name and date of birth.
The passenger, Bradley Wampfler, 43, of Worcester (left in image), was identified for not wearing a seatbelt. Wampfler later admitted to having cocaine in his possession.
According to the Webster Police Department, officers found cocaine and heroin on his person along with $24,551.
The driver was also arrested. During processing, the driver admitted to providing a false name to the officer. Christopher Noel, 40, of Worcester (right in image), has two outstanding warrants and faces new charges of:
- Operator Refusing to Identify self
- Unregistered Motor Vehicle on a Public Way
- Uninsured Motor Vehicle on a Public Way
- Attaching Plates to a Motor Vehicle
- Operating with a Revoked Driver’s License
Wampfler faces charges of:
- Possession of a Class B Substance
- Possession of a Class B Substance with the Intent to Distribute
- Possession of a Class A Substance
