Following his public request to be released from his WWE contract being rejected, Mustafa Ali has taken to his Twitter account to post a somewhat cryptic tweet.
Ali would share an image of Heath Ledger’s portrayal of The Joker from The Dark Knight. During the scene pictured, Ledger’s character would burn a large pile of money after stating,
“It’s not about money. It’s about sending a message. Everything burns.”
This post comes after Ali’s original release post also focused on his “message”, being captioned with the following,
“I have a message that is much bigger than my dreams in pro wrestling. Despite my best efforts, I will not be able to deliver this message while working with WWE.
Therefore, I am requesting my release from WWE.”
