Carrollton Police have arrested a 16-year-old who is accused of firing a gun at a car. The car contained a mother who was driving her three kids.

Police say no one was hurt when the woman was driving on January 10th with her two-year-old, 11-year-old, and 17-year-old kids - but the car was damaged. Police say they believe the 17-year-old was the intended victim.

Police say they planned to arrest the suspect at RL Turner High School when they learned the school had already detained him for having two guns on campus.

He will be charged with four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for the incident earlier this month, and unlawful carrying of a weapon on school grounds for the guns found today.
