The Chicago Blackhawks ‘ COVID Protocol list is finally clear. Forwards Kirby Dach and Brett Connolly tested out of protocol this morning. The team also recalled forward Mike Hardman from the AHL Rockford IceHogs.

Dach’s absence began on Jan. 13, causing him to miss the team’s last three games. On the season, Dach has 14 points (six goals, eight assists) in 36 games.

Connolly entered COVID Protocol two days after Dach. The veteran forward has not recorded a point in sparse playing time (four games) this season. He last suited up on Jan. 11 against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Beyond those two, Dylan Strome, Seth Jones, and Jake McCabe all missed time recently due to the virus. But with Kirby Dach and Brett Connolly now back in the mix, it appears the Blackhawks’ COVID outbreak over the last few weeks has subsided.

The Blackhawks begin a home-and-home set of games against the Minnesota Wild on Friday night. Puck drop from the United Center is at 7:30 PM CST and the game will air on NBC Sports Chicago+.
