She continued, 'It’s a dream to share my history, my love and my respect for a part of me that’s so dear to my heart.
'I’m proud to explore more about myself & my musical passions with every new project. It’s been incredibly special to get to work with so many talented artists in bringing this body of work to life…and this is only the first chapter! Con amor…'

In November she continued the rollout of new music when she performed the ballad Somos Nada at the Latin Grammys.

She posted an image with her collaborator, Ozuna, who matched her in a red leather outfit of his own.
With this latest music endeavor, the blue-eyed beauty is calling back to her Ecuadorian heritage.
Speaking with CNN en Español she reflected, 'Mi Reflejo had been such a beautiful, special time in my life, but it was 20- plus years ago when I was coming on the scene. I was so green to the business. I was baby Christina.'
She added that now, more than 20 years later, 'I'm a grown woman who had such an incredible career. Now I get to come back having reflected on that.'
La Fuerza, which translates to The Strength, is the first of three installments Christina plans to release in 2022.
