Stuart Highway will attack Mick Carter over affair suspicions in upcoming EastEnders scenes.

While secretly battling breast cancer, Stuart has also become consumed with jealousy due to unfounded suspicion his wife Rainie Highway is having an affair with Mick.

Stuart had seen Mick giving Rainie flowers for some helpful advice, then misunderstood Jay Brown when he accused Mick of cheating on Linda Carter with Janine Butcher.

Photos from upcoming episodes reveal Stuart clashing with Mick in the Vic, while a stunned Rainie and horrified Sonia Fowler look on.

Tensions escalate between the childhood friends to the point where Stuart will slug Mick in Friday's episode because he's irate over the affair suspicion.

Long-time viewers will remember Stuart and Mick have had a rocky history. It was revealed a few years ago that Stuart was responsible for locking Tina in her car boot during a traumatic childhood incident.

Their feud escalated to the point where Stuart stitched up Mick to serve prison time until his wife Linda got a recorded confession from Stuart by pretending to fall for him.

The two even had an armed showdown over Christmas a few years ago, but Stuart has since reformed and tried to rebuild his friendship with Mick. Will his accusations ruin any chance of a proper reconciliation?

This huge confrontation between Stuart Highway and Mick Carter will take place in Friday's (January 21) EastEnders episode, airing at 8.30pm on BBC One.
