Harrisburg firefighters responded to a blaze that broke out Friday afternoon in a city home.
The fire began around 1:30 p.m. at a duplex at 1927 Forster Street, according to the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire’s Facebook post.
No injuries were immediately apparent as a result of the fire. Multiple pets were rescued from the fire, including a large dog and orange tabby cat. It’s unclear what caused the blaze.
Firefighters remained on the scene as of 2 p.m.
Fire departments in Cumberland and York counties were called in to assist while city firefighters were on Forster Street.
