A truck transporting 2,000 pounds of propane crashed and rolled into a river Thursday night.

Sgt. Roden with Utah Highway Patrol told 2News the truck crashed while traveling on State Road 101 at milepost 19 in Cache County.

Sgt. Roden said the truck left the roadway and rolled in a nearby river.

The truck's tank was about halfway submerged.

The driver, who was not hurt, told officers the crash happened at approximately 8:30 p.m. Thursday night but there was no cell service.

A plow driver traveling around the area called the crash into officers at approximately 6 a.m. Friday morning.
