Watch Jodie Comer Say “Help” Over and Over Again In This Exclusive Clip From Acorn TV’s ‘Help’

Killing Eve star Jodie Comer is begging — pleading! — for help in this new exclusive clip for Acorn TV‘s latest feature release, Help. Starring alongside Stephen Graham, Comer plays Sarah, a young caregiver living in Liverpool who must balance her patients with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In the clip, Sarah confronts Tony (Graham), a patient suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, and asks for his assistance.

“I need help with your friend Kenny, but it could put you in danger,” Sarah says in the clip. “Tony, look at me. I need you to consent properly to that.”

“What’s wrong with him?” Tony asks, confused.

“Tony, Tony, please concentrate. Look at me. Will you help me move Kenny onto his front?” Sarah pleads. After some resistance from Tony, she continues. “Tony, Tony, please, I need help, okay? I believe that you will give it. Will you help me?”

Tony is still confused, and asks Sarah what, exactly, she needs help with. Sarah, increasingly panicking, sighs and continues to ask Tony to assist her.

“I need to get out of bed,” Sarah says.

“What for?” Tony asks.

Reiterating her point, Sarah vaguely says, “I need your help. Kenny needs our help, okay? So I need you to get out of bed as soon as you can,” she says as Tony finally crawls out of bed. “I need you to wash your hands please.”

Tony obliges, rinsing his hands — but that’s not good enough. Sarah demands that he washes with soap, urging him to use quite a bit of the cleansing agent. When he’s finished, she throws him a towel and pulls him back out of the bathroom. She slides a pair of gloves onto his hands.

“Okay, I need you to put these on your hands,” Sarah says as she slips them on, also giving him a face mask. “I need you to keep that on, no matter what. Promise me? Do you understand what we’re doing?”

“I don’t understand why you’re so upset,” he replies.

After she apologizes, Sarah leads Tony outside — presumably to Kenny — and the clip ends.
