Largest cryptocurrencies drop on Ethereum, Litecoin declines

All of the largest cryptocurrencies were down during morning trading on Friday, with Ethereum (ETHUSD) seeing the biggest move, tumbling 9.54% to $2,789.92.

Litecoin (LTCUSD) declined 8.97% to $121.94, and Ripple (XRPUSD) declined 7.79% to 68 cents.

Polkadot (DOTUSD) dropped 7.79% to $21.65 on Friday, while Bitcoin (BTCUSD) declined 7.18% to $38,419.03 and Bitcoin Cash (BCHUSD) fell 7.63% to $338.66.

Cardano (ADAUSD) and Uniswap (UNIUSD) fell 7.12% to $1.19 and 6.87% to $13.81

Dogecoin (DOGEUSD) rounded out the decreases with a 3.64% decline to 15 cents.

In crypto-related company news, shares of Coinbase Global Inc. (COIN) plunged 11.96% to $195.12, while MicroStrategy Inc. (MSTR) shed 9.64% to $413.44. Riot Blockchain Inc. (RIOT) shares shed 8.30% to $16.02, and shares of Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. (MARA) declined 7.93% to $22.86.

Overstock.com Inc. (OSTK) shed 5.20% to $42.32, while Block Inc. (SQ) fell 2.12% to $124.88 and Tesla Inc. (TSLA) declined 2.46% to $971.72.

PayPal Holdings Inc. (PYPL) declined 3.50% to $167.22, and Ebang International Holdings Inc. Cl A (EBON) shares dropped 5.92% to 82 cents. NVIDIA Corp. (NVDA) declined 1.83% to $237.08, and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) slipped 3.50% to $121.07.

In the fund space, blockchain-focused Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF (BLOK) fell 4.59% to $33.29. The Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF (BITQ) which is focused on pure-play crypto companies, fell 8.00% to $15.99. Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) which tracks the Bitcoin market price, dropped 9.86% to $26.16.
