Which families will still be in CS in 50 years?

I can see the Barlows and Platts still being around in 50 years, there are so many family members.

    The Barlows when modern Corrie is classic Corrie. It won't last another 50 years.

    I doubt Corrie will still be on in 50 years time but if so probably the Platts, Barlows, McDonalds and Websters.

    Don't think it'll be on in 50 years. But if it is, then I'd imagine it will look a lot different and won't have any of the current family names in it. Maybe the Barlows at a push, but I'd doubt it.

    I certainly hope it's on in 50 years! Although I think Corrie would need to make some quite drastic changes to survive, and I'm not sure they want to do that...

    Anyway, I'm digressing. I think the Barlows and Platts will definitely be around in some form as they'll always be seen as the 'classic' families.

    Yep we've got the possible future (in some case more) offspring's and their possible future offspring's as well

    Barlows - Daniel, Adam, Simon, Amy and Bertie
    Platts - Sarah, David, Bethany, Max, Charlotte, Unnamed Child, Lily, Harry and Sam

    I doubt corrie will be around in 50 years in fact I doubt any of the soaps will be.

    I very much doubt it will be around in 50 years, but in that unlikely scenario I wonder will the old terrace still stand like a museum in the middle of a modern world around it?
