Our Beloved Summer Episode 14 sees Yeon Su remembering the night when Choi Ung called her days after their breakup. Choi Ung was drunk as he called Yeon Su to ask why they ended their relationship.
Yeon Su confessed that her family was going through a financial crisis. However, Choi Ung was too drunk to remember what happened, so he wondered what he did that left Yeon Su to decide that their relationship was not worth it.
On the other hand, Yeon Su’s grandmother had asked Choi Ung a favor never to let her granddaughter live alone. She had left him a hint about what happened in their family before, but Ung wanted to learn more from Yeon Su herself.
As the documentary's first episode was released, it immediately received huge attention. Some fans even waited for Choi Ung and Yeon Su around their neighborhood to grab some photos with them.
Ji Ung meets with NJ. The idol singer starts asking him updates about Choi Ung, but the latter doesn’t have the slightest idea as he had not been in contact with the artist for a while. NJ unconsciously receives life-changing advice from Ji Ung.
Meanwhile, Eun Ho deals with an unwanted visitor at Soli’s bar. It turns out that her ex-boyfriend comes to ask for money. Thankfully, Eun Ho successfully drove him away.

The next morning, Yeon Su expresses her deepest emotions and fear of being left alone again.
The epilogue for episode 14 then reveals that Ji Ung’s mother has limited days left to live. She asks her son to film her even before she dies. This touches a sensitive part in Ji Ung’s heart as he realizes the only family he has will soon disappear.
