Snow clears after dusting, up to 2 inches falls in Upstate

Cold temperatures will keep snow from melting on the ground into Saturday

well, we're finally starting to clear out from really the wild weather week that we have seen some of us saw two rounds of snow from sunday night's storm until last night's quick batch of either a light dusting of snow to up to two inches of snow Now outside right now, clearing out across much of our area. However, pushing to the east, those Carolina areas along the coast, still seeing a little bit of a wintry mix starting to exit to the eastward, so we're still going to be gradually getting in some of these totals. But overall you can see that we didn't pick up much around the Greenville area, pushing to the southeast, things gradually increased but notice the difference. So Mauldin fountain in towards Table Rock, we picked up maybe about a half an inch or so of snow to a light dusting. But notice as you push a little bit further to the southeast Colombia, western Colombia got over two inches of snow so something they don't certainly see very often. So overall though we are clearing the snow out, we're going to gradually increase the sunshine Throughout today and tomorrow. We're also going to gradually be warming up. So the last couple of days we've been sitting in the 40s and the 30s and very chilly few days we're talking the 50s returning tomorrow through Tuesday. So any bit of leftover snow that some of those higher elevations might have. That will certainly be clearing out through the rest of this weekend. Now mapping out that next chance for rain doesn't look like it's arriving until we get to Tuesday. So we've got several days of some very quiet weather in store for us afternoon high temperatures today For many of us a couple degrees warmer than yesterday, so we didn't get out of the 30s for many of us yesterday. So the lower 40s a bit of an improvement for today, but still several degrees below average. But mapping out your weekend plans going to be a nice and quiet weekend, a good amount of sunshine now that that front has already cleared on out to the east and southeast as we progress throughout the day. Today, we'll continue to see a good amount of sunshine as we get into sunday, same story, but temperatures warming into the fifties, so it's going to feel a little bit more comfortable outside for sunday and that trend sticks around into early next week as well, monday is looking good to go, temperature is still on the mild side and then as we get towards Tuesday, that's when things start to switch gears a little bit. Yes, we still see the warmth at least for a little bit longer, but we increase the cloud cover and we've got a system at this point sliding to our south. This one we want to watch as of right now, it looks like we will see some rain out of it, but again, if it does push a little bit further south, we may just barely get grazed by it, but right now looking like it will primarily be rain at this point beautiful weekend and store temperature is gradually rising into the lower fifties, sunday into monday and Tuesday. The fifties stick around a little bit longer than that. Rain starts to cool us back down Wednesday through the remainder of the week, but overall this upcoming week looking nice and quiet, Just a small chance for some showers on Tuesday. Mhm. Mhm.
