ARISE seeking community donations on different household items

NEW CASTLE — ARISE is seeking different items and supplies based on different categories.

For cleaning supplies, they need dish soap and cleaning materials like Mr. Clean and Lysol, laundry pods, kitchen size trash bags, paper towels, 409 spray, Windex and toilet cleaner.

For personal care, they need shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, hairbrushes and hair bands, adult and children over-the-counter medicine, such as Tylenol, Pepto Bismol, Immodium and Tums, women’s deodorant, baby shampoo/wash, Black hair care products, tissue paper and size 3-6 diapers/pull-ups.

For clothing and linens, they need new women’s sweatpants, T-shirts and yoga pants, size small to 5X, women’s underwear in all sizes, women’s socks and slippers in all sizes, single sheets, blankets, pillows, pillowcases and twin comforters.

They also need bath towels and washcloths, dish towels, air mattresses with a pump, microwaveable meals, spices for cooking, dishes and silverware/flatware.

New, unexpired and unopened items can be dropped off at the agency during normal business hours. ARISE is located at 1218 W. State St. in New Castle.
