Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8 series set for February 9 debut as Samsung hypes up "the most noteworthy S series device"

Samsung is set to debut the Galaxy S22 and Tab S8 series shortly. Details of the phones have leaked thoroughly over the past few months and it appears we're in the endgame now, as information about the phones' specific launch dates has begun to surface.

According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8 series are both scheduled to make their debuts on February 9. The leaker seems to be supremely confident in their information and specifies that the event is scheduled for 23:00 Beijing time. That would be 10:00 the same day in Washington, DC. Rumors have claimed a February 8 launch in the past, so it seems certain that Samsung's launch event will occur on either of those days.

The company has now also announced that it will debut the Galaxy S22 series in February. "At Unpacked in February 2022, we'll introduce you to the most noteworthy S series device we've ever created," Dr TM Roh, President of Samsung Electronics, is quoted as having said. 

What appears to be the truly official renders of the Galaxy S22 series have surfaced as well, revealing the Galaxy S22 Ultra and what looks to be the Galaxy S22+. Fine print at the bottom also confirms that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will ship with an S Pen.
