made one sweet trade on Thursday.

The Ottawa Senators forward caught a glimpse of a sign, written in his native German, offering a 1-for-1 deal: A stick for a bag of gummy bears.
Stutzle, born in Viersen, Germany, not only couldn't pass on the offer, he threw in a kicker by signing the stick.
After warmups, the second-year player tossed the stick over the boards and collected his spoils and headed for the locker room. Because you can never have too many emergency backup snacks.
