- The FDA has approved Elanco Animal Health's (NYSE:ELAN) Zorbium (buprenorphine transdermal solution) for postoperative pain associated with surgical procedures in cats.
- The long-acting medication provides pain relief for four days.
- Elanco said Zorbium will be available to veterinarians mid year.
- In late November, Elanco lowered its Q4 2021 earnings outlook.
