CHICAGO --Marc-Andre Fleury said he is focused on helping the Chicago Blackhawks win, not on where he'll be playing after the NHL Trade Deadline on March 21.

"It's not my thought yet," the goalie said Thursday. "All I want is to have this team make the [Stanley Cup] Playoffs. Honestly, that's what's in my head right now. To me, it's not worth looking too far ahead. I just want to put this team in a good position to make the playoffs, and that's my goal."
Though the trade deadline is two months from Friday, Fleury was asked about possibly being moved. He can become an unrestricted free agent after the season, and the reigning Vezina Trophy winner could be availiable to a contender with Chicago eight points out of playoff spot.
The 37-year-old is 13-11-3 with a 2.69 goals-against average, .916 save percentage and three shutouts in 27 games for the Blackhawks, who acquired him in a trade with the Vegas Golden Knights on July 27.
"I've been better I guess," Fleury said. "We've been winning some games, so I think it's not just me. As a team in general, we've been playing well, giving ourselves a chance to win every night. I think guys are playing well in front of me, too, which makes my job easier. I feel good."
Fleury is in the final season of a three-year, $21 million contract ($7 million average annual value) he signed with the Golden Knights on July 13, 2018.
Chicago (15-18-6) plays four of its next five games against Central Division opponents, including Friday and Saturday against the Minnesota Wild and the first-place Colorado Avalanche on Jan. 24 and Jan. 28.
"I think the last five games have been better," he said of the Blackhawks going 4-0-1. "We've been playing better and we're playing some division teams coming up. There's no quit in our game, right? We have to keep pushing through this. I know there's a lot of teams ahead of us, but I don't know. Still, my goal is to try to keep climbing in the standings as much as possible."
Fleury is 505-287-83 with two ties, a 2.55 GAA, .913 save percentage and 70 shutouts in 910 NHL games with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Golden Knights and Blackhawks. He's 90-70 with a 2.53 GAA, .912 save percentage and 16 shutouts in 162 playoff games.
He won the Stanley Cup with the Penguins in 2009, 2016 and 2017 before he was selected by the Golden Knights in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft.
Fleury helped the Golden Knights reach the Stanley Cup Final in their first season (2017-18). Last season, he won the Vezina Trophy voted as the NHL's best goalie for the first time after he was 26-10-0 with a 1.98 GAA, .928 save percentage and six shutouts in 36 games.
