Coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC today, the competitive frisbee-centric experience may be a sight for sore eyes for those hankering for a spot of old-school 1v1 competition against their chums. Feel free to check out the new video down below:

Released back in 1994 for arcade cabinets and the NEO GEO – and later ported to PS3, PS4, PS Vita and the Nintendo Switch – the original Windjammers is a beloved classic that holds a special place in many gamers’ hearts.

As for the sequel, well, many outlets are praising the game for its fun pick-up-and-play feel and tried-and-true gameplay. In fact, our very own Omar Banat reviewed Windjammers 2 on Switch and absolutely loved his time with the game, ultimately awarding it a 4/5, concluding:

Overall, Windjammers 2 is a massive success that fans of the franchise will surely enjoy and those new to the game will quickly understand why the fans of the original game love it. The lack of game modes with meaningfully different gameplay is unquestionably disappointing. Yet, the core gameplay is just so good and enjoyable that hours will pass in the blink of an eye.
