Garena and Ubisoft Announce Insane Free Fire X Assassin’s Creed Collaboration - Assassin's Creed

Garena, the developers of the hit mobile Battle Royale title Free Fire, announced an intriguing collaboration with video game publishers Ubisoft.

The collaboration involves Ubisoft’s hit action-adventure franchise Assassin’s Creed, and Garena revealed that the crossover will take place in the world of Free Fire in March.

When it comes to video game franchises, both Assassin’s Creed and Free Fire have left a massive mark on their respective platforms. While Free Fire has revolutionized mobile gaming with other Battle Royale titles like PUBG, BGMI and many more, Assassin’s Creed has taken over the open-world stealth genre on both PC and consoles.

The developers have revealed little to no information about the crossover. However, in a blog post, the developers at Garena and Ubisoft stated that they will soon reveal the contents of the collaborations in the upcoming weeks.

Even then, fans can take a few guesses on the items and exclusive content that will appear in Free Fire, which includes skins and more. The banner for the collaboration also includes popular franchise character Ezio Auditore da Firenze, who first appeared in Assassin’s Creed II, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the character will join Free Fire as a skin for players to use.

This isn’t the first Garena has partnered with a major IP for a collaboration of such scale. Over the years, Free Fire has seen some amazing crossovers with brands like McLaren, TV show Money Heist and even anime like Attack on Titan.

The Battle Royale genre in the mobile world has been heating up a lot, with many titles offering major crossovers. Recently, Free Fire’s competitor BGMI and its developers in Krafton announced an upcoming collaboration with Sony Pictures for a crossover with Spider-Man: No Way Home, and fans are quite excited about the prospects of playing with the Spidey suit in the game.

It remains to be seen what Ubisoft and Garena can offer with their upcoming collaboration in terms of the bundles, skins and other exclusive items, and it will be interesting to see the game battle it out with BGMI and its Spider-Man crossover, which will arrive later this month.
