Matt Hardy Explains His Business Relationship With Andrade El Idolo

– Matt Hardy spoke to Busted Open Radio today, and he continued to advance his ongoing storyline in AEW with Andrade El Idolo, with Andrade purchasing a controlling interest in the Hardy Family Office (HFO). He stated the following (via Fightful):

“Right now, the way things are working, Andrade is the big Latino businessman, I am the big American businessman and we have decided to merge our two industries. He wants to continue to recruit guys. I have sold him the HFO. He offered me $1.7 million and he would get 51%. That worked and because I control the board of directors. I have three seats, myself, Isiah Kassidy, and Marq Quen. I will always control the board of directors. I think it’s going to make for some interesting interactions between enemies of him and enemies of the HFO’s. I think you’ll see some interesting tag team matches between myself and Andrade. It’s going to be a lot of fun. I’ve never gotten to work with him in-depth and it’s been very enjoyable the last couple of weeks doing the little bit of business we’ve done.”

Whether Matt Hardy eventually comes to regret this decision selling the HFO to Andrade El Idolo remains to be seen.
