Three country music artists are documenting their album-making process on the road in a new docuseries, coming to Paramount+ this week.
“The Marfa Tapes” premieres on the streaming service Thursday, Jan. 20. Taking place in Marfa, Texas, the Paramount+ exclusive series follows country music artists Miranda Lambert, Jon Randall and Jack Ingram as they record an album on the road.
The sound of their new album is “raw and stripped-down” without major production. According to the trailer, they take inspiration from nature, their West Texas desert surroundings and their emotions.
