Superhero on the line!

In a YouTube video posted by Children’s Hospital Los Angeles on January 19, Zendaya, Tom Holland, and Jacob Batalon teamed up to surprise a young fan, Adrian. He was nearly speechless, shocked to see Spider-Man and his friends smiling on the screen opposite him.

Adrian wasted no time in trying to uncover some spoilers, inching closer to the laptop and asking in a hushed tone for “secrets” about No Way Home. However, the trio remained tight-lipped and assured Adrian that he’ll want to wait to watch the movie to find out.

“There’s nothing really we can tell you that’s not a spoiler, because we don’t want to spoil the movie for you,” Tom said. “We want you to see it in all its glory.”

In turn, Adrian had the sweetest response: “Yeah, but I don’t have patience so I can’t really wait.”

In the remainder of the three-minute clip, Adrian and the Spidey crew asked questions back and forth. After Tom shared that Captain America: Civil War was one of his favorite Marvel movies, Adrian revealed that he hadn’t seen it because he doesn’t like “all the heroes just fighting.”

Before the Zoom wrapped up, Adrian tried one last time to get a spoiler out of the cast—however, they stayed hush-hush.

Tom and the Spider-Friends have previously visited the true heroes at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. In 2017, around the time of the Spider-Man: Homecoming premiere, Tom suited up to chat with a number of patients and their families. Then in 2019, Zendaya and Jake Gyllenhaal (aka Mysterio) joined Tom to surprise those watching Spider-Man: Far From Home.
