We're entering the back half of Week 14, and injuries have played a large part in what trade targets are worth pursuing ahead of Week 15. It can be challenging to determine what assets can maintain long-term value, but we've identified a group that fantasy managers should try to acquire or get rid of ahead of the weekend.

So who should managers try to buy and sell? Here are five options to consider going after or moving:

Three to buy

  • Kelly Olynyk: Olynyk played against the Kings on Wednesday to end a two-month layoff caused by a knee injury. The Pistons' stretch four and small-ball center erupted for 22 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in 22 minutes. He shot 8-for-17 from the field and led Detroit centers in minutes. He seems poised to make Isaiah Stweart and Trey Lyles obsolete because of his well-rounded offensive game and finished as a top-15 fantasy center for the struggling Rockets last season.
  • Coby White: Lonzo Ball is set to miss four-to-six weeks to recover from a meniscus injury, and that should help White maintain his fantasy relevance for at least another month. The Bulls' reserve guard is averaging 17.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.9 rebounds per game in January and has reached double-digits in points in 13 straight contests. Ayo Dosunmu's playing time is sure to drop significantly once Zach LaVine is back in the fold, but White has solidified himself as a reliable member in Chicago's rotation.
  • Chris Boucher: I mentioned Boucher as an ideal category booster for blocks on Monday, and he's continued to thrive in 2022. The Raptors center's playing time is trending up, and he's averaging 19 points and 11 rebounds in Week 14. Khem Birch's nose injury has opened the door for Boucher to claim a significant role moving forward. Boucher's cracked 36 minutes in four of his last five games and averaged 16.8 points and 10.7 rebounds per 36 minutes.

Three to sell

  • Daniel Gafford: Gafford's rostership has plummeted since Thomas Bryant rejoined the rotation and his days as a productive fantasy big are likely coming to an end. The Wizards are consistently deploying Motrezl Harrell, Bryant, and Gafford, so it'll be hard for any member of the trio to dominate. Gafford's averaged 5.8 points and 2.3 rebounds per game since Harrell returned on just 11.9 minutes per contest.
  • Omer Yurtseven: Bam Adebayo's recovery has decimated Yurtseven's fantasy value. The rookie big man was a consistent double-double threat with the usual starter recovering from a thumb injury but has logged a pair of DNPs since Adebayo's return. Erik Spoelstra has opted to use Dewayne Dedmon as Miami's first big off the bench, so Yurtseven's short-lived time in the spotlight is coming to a close.
