Kim Kardashian is reportedly feeling "overwhelmed and upset" following recent drama with Kanye West.
The update follows multiple developments from Kanye regarding the pair's relationship. Over the weekend, Kanye publicly took to his Instagram Stories claiming he hadn't been invited to daughter Chicago's birthday party, telling followers, "I wasn’t allowed to know where her party was," before going on to attend.
On top of the party, the rapper made headlines after calling out Kim's new boyfriend Pete Davidson in his lyrics for single 'Eazy', while other lines in the song see him criticising Kim's parenting skills.
Kanye also discussed Kim and Pete with Hollywood Unlocked host Jason Lee, saying, "How you gonna bring me to SNL and kiss the dude you dating right in front of me and everybody's like, 'Aw, that's cool'?"
'Eazy' lyrics publicly dragging Kim's parenting include Kanye rapping, "I watched four kids for like five hours today ... I got love for the nannies, but real family is better / The cameras watch the kids, y'all stop takin' the credit."
Kanye then adds, "When you give 'em everything, they only want more / Boujee and unruly, y'all need to do some chores / Rich-ass kids, this ain't yo' mama house / Climb on your brother's shoulders, get that Top Ramen out."
Now, Kim's feelings surrounding all the recent drama with Kanye have been revealed. A source told Entertainment Tonight, "Kim has been overwhelmed and upset by Kanye's recent interviews and antics."
They continued, "Kim's main priority has always been their children. Her goal has always been to have a healthy co-parenting relationship with Kanye, where both of them are involved."
As for the future between Kim and Kanye, the insider referenced Kim's relationship with her father Robert Kardashian following his divorce from Kris Jenner. They explained, "Kim had an incredible relationship with her dad, even after her parents got divorced, and she wants that for her kids too.
"Kim has just been trying to put a structured plan in place so that her children can feel safe, secure, protected, and loved by the both of them."
The source went on, "Kim has been trying to move on, but she also tries to be extremely respectful of Kanye and sensitive to his feelings."
