By the numbers: Year-over-year median home sale prices up more than 18% across Central Florida

The median home sale prices in Central Florida from November 2020 to November 2021 went up by 18.1%, according to data from Zillow updated this week.

The most significant rise came in 32798, Zellwood and Apopka in Orange County, with a median home price of $238,883, a 31.1% increase year over year.

That was followed by 32922, Cocoa in Brevard County with a median sale price of $177,120, an increase of 30.95%; 32169, which is New Smyrna Beach in Volusia County with a median of $593,741, an increase of 29.72%; 32141, which is the Edgewater area in Volusia County with a median of $273,270, an increase of 29.17%; and 32738, which is Deltona in Volusia County with a median of $267,817, an increase of 28.76%.

No ZIP code in Central Florida showed a median home price sales loss.

The ZIP code with the smallest growth was 32162, which is the Lady Lake area just east of The Villages, with a median of $279,141, an increase of 14.28%.
