Johnny Gargano is a vlogger now.
In his first vlog on his YouTube page, Gargano revealed a vlog from July 9, 2021. In the vlog, Gargano states that there is a "99.9999% chance that I don't re-sign" while mentioning that he will become a professional YouTuber.
The vlog was done to document the journey of Candice LeRae and Johnny announcing Candice's pregnancy to their parents.
July 9 was the same day Tegan Nox, Shotzi Blackheart, and Toni Storm were moved from NXT to the main roster.
On the December 7 episode of NXT, Johnny Gargano gave his farewell speech to NXT, saying he wasn't sure what was next for him as his contract expired. Gargano has said many times that would be taking time off to be with his family, noting that he has been there through every step of the pregnancy process with Candice and wants to continue to be there as she prepares to deliver in February. He also wants to spend as much time as possible with his family once the baby is born.
In an interview following his WWE departure, Gargano said he decided a year ago that he was going to take time off from NXT.
