How to enable 2FA in Fortnite to get rewards

Two-factor authentication (2FA) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) is actually pretty important for account security. In the modern-day hackers and scammers has countless methods to try and access your important accounts, and they will absolutely take your Fortnite account along with all of your V-Bucks, skins, and emotes if given the chance.

One thing that protects against this is 2FA. When 2FA is enabled, you’ll be prompted to verify your login each time you use a new device – usually with your smartphone. This means anyone without that device will be unable to log in, even if they have managed to acquire your details.

Not only that, but enabling 2FA on your Epic Games/Fortnite account will also get you a small handful of rewards for both the battle royale and Save The World game modes. Just read on below for everything you need to know to enable 2FA – and make sure to read our Fortnite Klombo dinosaur guide for the details on the battle royale’s latest addition.

  • Click this Epic Games link and enter your Account Settings, navigate to the Password & Security tab, and finally your Security Settings.

  • LastPass Authenticator.
  • Microsoft Authenticator.
  • Authy.
