Around 5:30 Wednesday evening, the Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting on Forest Lane in the town of Starr. There a man was found that had been shot at least once.
The victim was injured and was airlifted to an area hospital. There's no update on the victim's condition, as of the time of this report. Chatham is charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.
