Doctor Who star Peal Mackie has announced that she and her partner Kam Chhokar are engaged.
The Bill Potts actor, who has also appeared in titles such as Friday Night Dinner and The Long Call, shared the happy news on Instagram yesterday (January 19), as she posted a photo of their respective rings, and a cute Polaroid snap of the pair, too.
"Be honest, how many of you had bets on this happening? Yup, we're En-GAY-ged!!!💍🥂🍾 😁💥 @kmchhkr I've said it before and I'll say it again, I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL YOU'RE MY WIFE! 💖💜💙," Mackie gushed alongside the image.
"Congrats! ❤️" Eternals star Gemma Chan replied, as American Gods' Yetide Badaki wrote: "Ahhhhhh Congratulations!!!!!❤️🔥🎉🎊"
Made in Chelsea's Ollie Locke seemed equally thrilled about the relationship update, as he commented: "Whhattttttt the heeeeavennnn!!!!!!!!! I love you guys and I couldn't be more excited!!! Xxxxxx."
Several other famous friends of Mackie's sent their well wishes, too, including Crazyhead's Cara Theobold, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actor Skye Marshall, The Wheel of Time's Hameed Animashaun and Loki's Wunmi Mosaku.

Mackie, 34, and Kam celebrated an anniversary back in August 2021. On the 12th, the former posted a close-up pic of the latter relaxing on a sun lounger, with a glowing caption that read: "Happy Anniversary to my absolute favourite person in the whole world. The most beautiful woman I have ever met, inside and out.
"And also, the silliest. @kmchhkr you have stolen my heart, please never give it back. I love you so f***ing much baby, here's to taking lift selfies together forever. ❤️🌈❤️🌈❤️🌈❤️🌈❤️🌈❤️🌈❤️🌈❤️🌈❤️🌈❤️🌈❤️🌈❤️🌈"
