About Girl's Day Sojin's Past Relationship with Eddy Kim
On June 28, 2017, SBS released an exclusive report about Girl's Day member Sojin dating Eddy Kim. The article includes a statement from an industry source, which says that the two got close while filming the variety program "I'm A Movie Director, Too" in August 2016 and even got closer since then.
The source also said that they shared that same interest in music and this made them even more open to one another. It is said that the couple started dating in April 2017.

SBS's exclusive report also stated that a few witnesses alleged that they saw Girl's Day member Sojin and Eddy Kim chilling out close to the female idol's apartment and driving around in her car.
Afterward, the respective management agency of both celebrities denied the dating news, stating that the two are just close friends.
However, Girl's Day's company DreamT Entertainment released another official statement to confirm that Sojin and Eddy Kim are indeed in a relationship.
The label said that the two started to express interest in each other and have recently started dating.

Concerning their initial denial of the relationship, DreamT Entertainment apologized and explained that they initially denied the dating news of Girl's Day Sojin and Eddy Kim as the two stars wanted to protect each other. The label added that they were just being careful.
The agency went on to say that the two consulted with each other and decided to admit their relationship to the public.
In addition to the company's statement, Girl's Day member Sojin issued a personal statement. She expressed her hope that people will watch over them kindly and that people will continue to send their love and support to them as they continue to work in the industry.
Unfortunately, Sojin and Eddy Kim's relationship only lasted for months.

On Dec. 27, 2016, DreamT Entertainment issued an official statement to announce that Sojin and Eddy Kim have broken up.

They added that they cannot confirm the exact time and reason for their breakup as it is part of their private lives. The label also said that the two celebrities will continue to support each other as colleagues.
Eddy Kim's management company Mystic Entertainment also confirmed the news. They explained that the two naturally drifted apart because of their busy schedules and decided to support one another's futures.
Did Girl's Day Sojin Date Anyone after Eddy Kim?
After her breakup with Eddy Kim, Girl's Day member Sojin is assumed to have not dated anyone. Even until now, she is assumed to be single as no reports about her dating have been released. Also, no dating rumors involving her have made rounds online as of writing.
About her ideal type, Sojin revealed it during her appearance on SBS Power FM's "Kim Chang Ryul's Old School." She said that she likes the kind of men who are thoughtful but are still a bit stubborn.
The Girl's Day member added that she doesn't usually look at appearance, but if she does, she likes people with big mouths. She also looks at their eyes and gazes. Regarding the height, she said it doesn't matter to her.
