Morgantown, West Virginia – A weather report from WSAZ in Charleston, West Virginia went viral after Tori Yorgey was hit by a passing automobile while live on television.
Yorgey and news anchor Tim Irr were discussing a water line break from freezing temperatures when suddenly Yorgey was knocked to the ground by a car that hit into her.
Yorgey immediately said, “Oh my god, I just got hit by a car! I just got hit by a car but I’m okay, Tim. We’re all good, that’s live TV for you!”
Yorgey continued: “I actually got hit by a car in college too, just like that.”
Irr, who only has audio and was unable to see the visual of Yorgey being hit, asked if she was okay, and Yorgey replied, “We’re good, Tim. It’s all good! You know this is my last week on the job and this is what happened! My whole life flashed before my eyes, but this is live TV and it’s all good!”
Yorgey, who had an incredible attitude after being struck by the car, said, “I thought we were in a safe location but we’ll have to move the camera over a bit.”
