Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Next week's Coronation Street will see Bernie accused of involvement in Joseph's disappearance, while Tim undergoes surgery.

Meanwhile, the net closes in on Emma and Faye.

Here's a look at 14 big moments hitting your screens.

1. Bernie tries to cover her tracks

Bernie is thrilled when Dev announces that he wants to take their families out for dinner and formally announce that they've made their relationship official. Bernie invites her family but Chesney questions how Bernie can afford it.

Meanwhile, Fiz catches Hope with a stash of sweets and is suspicious. Fearing that Hope will reveal all, Bernie warns her away from Joseph and to keep quiet about the deal with Clint.

Later, Bernie continues to worry the truth will out and insists to Joseph that he can't spend his £100 or they could all get into trouble.

2. Evelyn is suspicious of Bernie

Bernie buys Joseph a videogame he wants and makes him promise not to show it to Chesney and Gemma.

However, when Evelyn discovers Joseph with the game, she accuses him of stealing it. Bernie defends Joseph by lying that she bought it with her pay rise from Dev, but this only makes Evelyn angrier.

Bernie makes out to Dev that she lied about the pay rise so that Chesney won't feel bad about her buying gifts, but Evelyn isn't convinced by the story.

3. Bernie is accused of hiding Joseph

Bernie is horrified when she's accused of being involved in Joseph's disappearance and denies having any part in it.

Refusing to believe Bernie's side of the story, Evelyn phones the police. Bernie breaks down and reveals everything before she and Chesney are taken in for questioning.

Later, Bernie stresses to Paul that she acted on the best of intentions for the family, and that she's relying on Joseph to clear her name.

4. Tim begs for Sally's forgiveness

With Sally still struggling to forgive Tim after discovering that he kept his recent health problems from her, Tim enlists Kevin's help to speak to Sally on his behalf and tell her how sorry he is.

As Tim prepares to go under the knife and the anaesthetic takes effect, he hears noises coming from the corridor as Sally is arrested by a police officer.

When Tim wakes up, he assumes Sally's arrest was just a dream – but what really happened?

5. Sally accuses Maria of fighting dirty

Sally reveals to Tim that an incriminating photo of her was published in the Gazette and as a result, developers are pulling their support for her campaign.

When Faye suggests the photo could've been leaked by a rival candidate, Sally jumps to conclusions. She immediately accuses Maria of trying to ruin her chances in the election but Maria insists she's innocent.

6. Sally realises she has made a mistake

Sally decides to fight fire with fire and sends the Gazette a picture of Maria with her 4x4 – making a mockery of Maria's attempts at tackling Weatherfield's air pollution problem.

However, Sally is mortified when Maria reveals that it was Councillor Cameron who sent Sally's incriminating photo to the Gazette.

Deciding she has had enough of the council elections battle, Sally promises to pull out of the race and focus on Tim instead.

7. Elaine clashes with Sally

Even though Tim is still recovering, Sally decides that they should still celebrate his 50th birthday and plans to throw a party in the hospital.

Sally's plans don't go down well with Elaine, who insists that Tim needs rest rather than a party.

Later, Tim is overjoyed when Elaine offers to move in and help look after him when he's released from hospital, but Sally isn't impressed.

8. Emma and Faye fear the truth will out

Having recently come into possession of Ted's crutch, Craig sent it to the lab to be checked over for fingerprints as part of a bet with Tyrone, leading to Emma and Faye fearing that their involvement in Ted's death will be uncovered.

When Craig gets a call to come to the station immediately, Emma prepares for the worst. She's relieved when Craig reveals he has been reprimanded for wasting police resources instead.

Later, Emma and Faye are relieved to learn that Ted's funeral is the next day and assume they're off the hook since the police released his body.

9. Craig is stunned when Faye reveals all

Emma and Faye are troubled to learn from Craig that Ted's post-mortem suggests he was run over and that could've caused the blood clot that killed him.

Feeling guilty, Emma suggests to Faye that they should attend Ted's funeral.

Meanwhile, Craig learns that the police have put together an e-fit on the girl that the witness spotted at Ted's flat and comments on the similarity to Emma. With the net closing in, Faye reveals the truth to Craig. Will Craig report Emma and Faye to the police?

10. Carla doesn't approve of Jenny's new relationship

Jenny is shocked when Carla has a go at her for failing to give Kate her share of Johnny's money that she promised her, and suggests she has forgotten her family in favour of Leo.

After Carla's reminder, Jenny sends Kate the money and Carla thanks her. However, Carla makes it clear she thinks Jenny is moving on too soon after Johnny's death.

11. Jenny moves forward with Leo

Jenny gets a call informing her that Leo has been injured at rugby and she rushes to the hospital – but faces a shock when she gets there.

Meanwhile, Carla apologises for her harsh stance on Jenny's relationship and urges Jenny to make a go of things with Leo. Boosted by Carla's support, Jenny reveals to Daisy that Leo is moving in with them.

Later, after Leo is made redundant at work, Jenny is sympathetic and cancels his rent but Daisy is unimpressed.

12. Lydia learns about the accusations against Daniel

Lydia congratulates Amy on her successful protest over the upskirting issue at the school, but is curious when Amy mentions that she and Daniel both overturned school suspensions recently.

Lydia questions about Daniel about Amy's comment and is shocked to learn he was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with Summer.

13. Daisy jumps to Daniel's defence

Concerned about the accusations made against Daniel, Lydia quizzes Sarah but their conversation is overheard by Daisy. She defends Daniel and assures Lydia that he's a good guy.

Sarah fills Daniel in on Daisy's passionate defence of him, and Daniel later thanks Daisy. When Daisy suggests they have a drink together, Daniel is shocked – and Lydia arrives in time to see the spark between them.

14. Max skips the consent workshop

With plans under way for a consent workshop following the recent upskirting scandal, Daisy decides to use her profile on social media to promote the event and encourage the kids to attend.

Later, Daniel reveals to David that Max wasn't in attendance despite his involvement in the scandal. Furious, David lays into Max and warns him not to miss the next one.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7.30pm on ITV.
